About the school.

Ramsden Hall School is a BESD residential school for boys aged 11-16. Boys come from all over Essex and all have a statement of Special Educational Needs.

The school offers National Curriculum subjects at KS3 and at KS4 offers GCSE’s and other nationally recognised programmes of study. Also at KS4 the school offers a variety of individual programmes depending on the needs of the student. This may include work and college placements.

On the residential side, programmes are offered to raise social awareness , self esteem and further social progress.

The school also has a senior CAMHS practioner who works with students

The school is situated in rural Essex in 14.5 acres of grounds and is sited between the town of Billericay and the village of Ramsden Heath. The grounds are used extensively by pupils for educational and recreational activities.

Year 7 and 8 pupils are encouraged to board in their initial introduction to the school. As they progress through the school they are gradually integrated back to their home and communities when deemed appropriate.

Ramsden Hall is an Essex run educational establishment and any places are referred through the county.
